Good afternoon, wonderful people!

July is now upon us, and with the start of a new month comes changes. We have a new intern, Valentina, starting with us this week! We also introduce a new theme of the week, focusing this time on gratitude and the role it plays in our lives.

We all have things in life to be thankful for, no matter who we are or what our circumstances are. I asked the PD Dollies to tell me one thing they are grateful for. Here’s what the Dollies had to say!

Leesa B: “I have gratitude for my incredible city. It inspires me, makes me happy, fulfilled and in awe. Always in my heart, my Manchester.”

Leesa D: “I’m grateful for my daughter, my partner and his grandparents, and also my friends who have supported me through a lot. I wouldn’t be where I am today without them.”

Milla: “I’m grateful for my little family, and for my absolutely fabulous friends that are part of my family here in the UK and all over the world. They all contribute to keeping me somewhat sane and support me in everything I do.”

Jillian: “I’m grateful for my health, even though it’s not always the best. It has lead me to choose a healthier lifestyle for myself that I normally wouldn’t choose. I am also grateful that my partner has always been by my side throughout every day and has always supported me.”

Anna: “I’m grateful for the opportunities I have been lucky to have and for the ability to express myself. I am grateful for resources available to me that others may not be so fortunate to have, whether that be basic neccessities or the privilege to love the area you work in. I’m lastly thankful for the endless support I have recieved throughout each opporunity I’ve had from family and friends.”

Grace: “I’m grateful for my family and friends who always support me and believe in me, as well as helping me acheive my dreams and everything I want to do in life.”

Valentina: “I’m very grateful to be accepted into PD and to start my internship!”

Personally, I have so much gratitude for the people who endlessly support me; friends in different cities and countries, family who are always close to heart, and work colleagues with some of the brightest minds I have ever known. Being a part of PD has allowed me to develop my writing skills and share myself with a much larger audience than I had before. It is so important, especially in this modern age where it’s easy to compare ourselves to others, to take a second and look at the wonderful things around you.

What do you have in your life that you have immense gratitude for? Keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter for our Questions Of The Day appearing on our socials all week! Stay safe, stay beautiful, and most importantly stay happy.

Kisses, PD Dolly Han xxx
